Duccio Zanchi, Chairman of the Board of CarboNovus.
Lawyer, formerly Chief Legal Officer of one of the major Italian banks, currently, Of Counsel for Ughi e Nunziante, a law firm with offices in Milan and Rome, as well as an associate with the Caretti and Tagliaferri law firm in Florence and Lecturer in Trusts Law for the Department of Business and law – Siena University.
Author of numerous publications regarding trusts and an oft-invited conference speaker on the subject, with extensive experience in the banking, financial and real estate sectors, he is now particularly active in the field of trusts, providing solutions for successions, generational transfers, and cases where bankruptcy or commercial law apply.
CarboNovus constitutes a new professional challenge to be taken up with the help of the large network of relations he has built up over the course of his varied career.
Cristiano Filippi, mechanical engineer and CEO of CarboNovus.

Filippi’s career has been primarily centered on the nautical sector. He has held positions as engineer and project manager in leading boatyards for various projects involving carbon fiber, including the role of operations manager and construction supervisor of the Nauta 99, a fast sailing cruiser made entirely of carbon fiber, for the Gruppo Perini Navi boatbuilders in La Spezia.
With two partners he founded CarboNovus in 2012 as a company focused on technological innovation in different fields (nautical, art transport, construction, energy), with an emphasis on the design and manufacture of products made of latest-generation composite materials, carbon fiber in particular.
On top of his manufacturing responsibilities, he is engaged in identifying and planning strategic developments for CarboNovus with a view towards expanding into new areas of operation.
Vanni Mario Zanchi is a Senior Associate at Muzinich Italian Private Debt Fund and joined from Holding Italiana Quattordicesima, a family office where he covered Private Equity investments. Prior to that, Vanni started his career in the Investment Banking department of Credit Suisse in London and subsequently moved to J.P. Morgan in Milan where he advised on multiple M&A and IPO mandates.
Vanni holds a Bachelor and a Master of Science cum laude in Economics and Social Sciences from Università Commerciale L. Bocconi.
Niccolò Mario Zanchi is an Associate at Rothschild (London) in the Global Advisory team.
Niccolò read Economics at the University of Cambridge, and attended the Harvard University Summer School Program.
