Duccio Zanchi
Chairman Board of Directors
Duccio is a seasoned lawyer, having served as the Chief Legal Officer of one of Italy's major banks. He is currently Of Counsel for Ughi e Nunziante, a reputable law firm with offices in Milan and Rome, and also an associate with the Caretti and Tagliaferri law firm in Florence. In addition to his legal practice, Duccio is a Lecturer in Trusts Law for the Department of Business and Law at Siena University.

Duccio has authored numerous publications on trusts and is a frequent conference speaker on the subject. With extensive experience in the banking, financial, and real estate sectors, he has become particularly active in providing solutions for successions, generational transfers, and cases involving bankruptcy or commercial law.
CarboNovus constitutes a new professional challenge to be taken up, leveraging the large network of relations he has built up
over the course of his varied career.
Vanni Mario Zanchi
Director
Vanni has an impressive background in finance, having worked at top firms in both London and Milan. Before joining his current role, Vanni covered Private Equity investments at Holding Italiana Quattordicesima, a family office. Prior to that, he began his career in the Investment Banking department of Credit Suisse in London, where he gained valuable experience advising on various financial transactions. Vanni then went on to work at J.P. Morgan in Milan, where he advised on multiple M&A and IPO mandates.
Vanni holds a Bachelor and a Master of Science cum laude in Economics and Social Sciences from Università Commerciale L. Bocconi.
Cristiano Filippi
Co-CEO
Filippi won First Prize at the Terre di Siena Creative 2012 competition for his "Carbon Workshop" project. He has worked in various roles in leading boatyards, specializing in carbon fiber projects. Filippi was the operations manager and construction supervisor for the Nauta 99, a carbon fiber sailing cruiser for Gruppo Perini Navi.
In 2012, he co-founded CarboNovus, which focuses on technological innovation and product design using composite materials, particularly carbon fiber. In addition to his manufacturing duties, Filippi is involved in identifying strategic developments to expand CarboNovus into new areas.
Michael J Prest
Director
Michael is a barrister and a global citizen. He has a strong track record of growing successful businesses across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean.
Michael specializes in identifying investment opportunities. He has a strong track record in natural resources (oil and gas), financial services (banking), health, leisure and property (UK, US and Caribbean). He is currently investing in scalable solar energy initiatives in East Africa, better natural resource outcomes in the African mining and minerals sector, and E&P in Tanga, Tanzania as well as a bespoke gaming and entertainment products that captures the unique stories of Africa and the Caribbean while protecting vulnerable consumers.
